The 2009 expedition was from
Moosonee on James Bay to Fort Temiskaming!

This was a 42 day adventure from mid June to the end of July.



Left Base Camp on June 17 for Cochrane.
Spent two nights in Cochrane.
Took the Polar Bear Express to Moosonee on the 19th.
Spent a day or two there.
Then up to James Bay and turn around.
Up river on the Moose.
Up river on the Abitibi.
Up river on the Onakawana.
Back on the Abitibi river.
Across Lake Abitibi.
Up river on Riviere Duparquet.
Across Lac Duparquet.
Up river on Riviere Kanasuta.
Across Lac Dasserat.
Across Lac Opastica.
Across Lac Raven.
Down la Riviere Larder
Across Lac Windigo
Down la Riviere Blanche.
Down Lac Timiskaming.
Arrived at the fort at Ville Marie on July 26.
